iRig Section |
With a wide array of amps, cabs, and effects, AmpliTube is not just a
single feature-rich program, but more of a suite comprised of several
music making applications. Actually, there are three main sections: the
basic 8-track recorder, the set of effects and amplifiers, as well as
the full Digital Audio Workstation. While the latter one offers advanced
timeline editing and the ability to apply fades and effects to each
track independently, AmpliTube's multitrack recorder, named Rec, pretty
much resembles a classic analog 8-track cassette recorder, which
features both Metronome and Loop functions, along with editing options
like Copy, Paste, and Bounce.

Multitrack Recorder |
AmpliTube's iRig represents the aforementioned set of effects and amp
sims, which allows you to create decent sound tracks in a rather easy
way. Reverb, Chorus, Fuzz, Overdrive, Tremolo, Distortion, and even more
– as the program lets you apply four on-screen pedals at a time, you
can mix or chain all the effects as you like in any order. Besides, the
iRig section provides several choices of presets and allows tweaking
effects pedals, cabinet, or microphone choices to your liking.
